    What a wonderful response! I have become more and more fascinated with the responses to this question as I read more and more posts by people that have been tagged to answer. Your post is extremely honest, enlightening, and inspiring, and I will use it to reflect on my own writing practices. I can tell you already that my mind is going to be wrapped around a few of the points that you write about, particularly the idea of the importance of rests. I absolutely love how you have compared your writing methods to those of a musician composing music.

    ....."If one person can say that their life was made better through my words, that means I am a successful blogger.".....

    I want you to know that you have inspired me to be a better writer, not only through this post, but through your past posts as well.

    How about this? Stephen Downes has already blogged about this topic, six months ago! I'd like to think my idea of asking my blogging network how they blog was ahead of its time but I didn't even know what a meme was back in July.
