This list is a great resource for teachers to use when trying to find new ways to spice up their classroom learning techniques! The app that I would like to use in my future classroom would be ShowMe Interactive Whiteboard for the iPad. I have several Apple products, and love to use my iPad. I have been wondering what was I could use my iPad in my future classroom to promote student learning. Having your iPad act as an interactive whiteboard is a great alternative if your classroom does not have a SmartBoard in it. This list of apps is something I will be referring back to! Thank you!

Ms. Johnston I do agree that hybrid teaching was a test. I can relate as my school and school community experience internet connectivity issues; and on some days students working remotely would be missing from class while students working face-to-face had anxiety due to fears of contracting the coronavirus.

I had to reassure in-class students that everything would be great. As time passed more and more students opted to work online and i started to question myself; Did I do the lesson justice as I felt lonely communicating with "black boxes or display pictures". It lacked the feeling of in-person interaction as well as the "check-in" factor which allowed me to gauge their level of concept comprehension. I know this was hard on my grade 3 students. I am currently engaged in face-to-face summer classes to ensure that all my students are ready for grade 4. (special attention given to the students who missed plenty classes)

I hate to admit that I just recently learned about the Ctrl + F feature, but it is so incredibly helpful on a daily basis! This is great information. I will be creating my own wasteful words list as a reminder while I am writing papers for my masters program! This will be a good list to use when editing along with the other reminders I have for my editing checklist. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

I love this idea so much! During middle school and high school, science was really hard for me to follow along and understand. As a result, I grew up not liking science classes and avoiding them at all costs. This way of learning is going to make a huge impact on and change the minds of students who, without this alternative instruction, could have grown up disliking science.

I have been a teacher for 28 years, and I kept a for many of those years, particularly when I taught creative writing. I got away from journaling with my students, and I regret it. I am starting at a different school, one for troubled teens, and I think I will once again have students journal. I hope that they will see the value in it. It doesn't hurt that I have 10 journals from which to share my ideas!
